Shortcode is a simple utility app for building and dialing EcoCash agent shortcodes.

Data Collection

Shortcode does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.

Contacts

The app may let you pick a phone number from your device contacts. This is only used on your device to fill the phone number field. The selected contact information is not uploaded, stored, or shared.

Dialer

The app can open your phone dialer with a generated USSD code. Calls and USSD sessions are handled by your mobile network and phone app, not by Shortcode.

Sharing and Links

The app can open Android's share sheet if you choose to share information about the app or the developer's work. It may also open external links such as GitHub or X when you tap those links.

Third Parties

Shortcode does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking services.

Data Retention and Deletion

Shortcode does not keep user accounts or store personal data on a server. You can clear any local app state by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from Android settings.
